Scotty Calhoun

The lake of pure sunshine is a water mass to which the sun's light hits in a full manor... Joking aside, his images are exciting and fun to look at it. I'm not normally a huge fan of color photography but these images work as a cohesive collection with a general theme of land conservation and preservation of natural wildlife. What was most interesting were his stories of his jornies rather than the images themselves. It's as if he's simply a story teller and the photographs are there are illustrations in a book. His use of the English language is suave and full of imagery. I enjoyed the section where he describes his stay at the posh local Motel 6. I wish he were invited to the party so that he could have told us in fun detail the night life of Lancaster. haha
